A lot of people take a DNA test in hopes of finding out where their family originated. Genealogists are taking that a step farther and hoping to confirm some family lines or connect with some distance cousins to learn new info. But I’ve recently talked with several people who told me “I did a DNA test. Now what?”
Today’s video over at the Genealogy Technology YouTube channel goes into detail on what exactly to expect when you’ve taken a DNA test.
I want to hear from you!
Did you take a DNA test and end up with an unexpected result? Whether it was an onslaught of messages, ethnicity from an unexpected regions or (gulp) a new cousin, I’d love to hear about your unexpected DNA experience!
